Séminaire intensif pour danseurs professionnels (ou de niveau professionnel)
Pour cette 1ère édition à Paris : Sebastian Arce nous fait l’honneur de revenir en France pour un rendez-vous professionnel unique :
Une master class durant laquelle il met à disposition son expertise de danseur et d’artiste, et ses années d’expérience, de recherche et de créativité sur l’essence du tango argentin.
Il abordera à travers sa vision de la conscience corporelle et son étude de la mécanique du mouvement, comment le danseur peut honorer sa danse.
L’objectif est d’incarner la danse et de vivre l’expérience comme une transformation technique, artistique, musicale.
Etude de cas : Technique complexe, styles variés, interprétation, musicalité
Danser est l’art de raconter une histoire. C’est également une opportunité en tant qu’artiste danseur d’expérimenter l’art de désapprendre pour repenser sa danse, d’oser se perdre pour mieux se trouver. Ce cheminement lorsqu’il est authentique et non dupliqué répond à la question que tout danseur doit se poser : pourquoi je danse ?
Sebastian n’aura hélas pas l’occasion de revenir à Paris durant l’année 2019. Il sera accompagné de María Cecilia Vicencio (vendredi et samedi), en tournée européenne à ses côtés, dès le mois d’avril.

Contenu : 9 heures d’enseignement :
- vendredi 24 : 16h30 – 19h30 (salle 4)
- samedi 25 : 18h00 – 21h00 (salle 2)
- dimanche 26 : 18h00- 21h00 (salle 4)
Programme détaillé :
1. Approfondir les éléments fondamentaux du Tango Argentin (techniquement et pédagogiquement)
- L’abrazo
- La marche
- Le pivot
- Le tour
2. Comprendre les différences critiques entre les 4 niveaux de dissociation et comment ces derniers influencent ce que le public appelle « le style ».
3. Différences cruciales (techniques et pédagogiques) entre former à la danse sociale et former à la compétition et/ou à la projection scénique.
4. Travail technique sur l’improvisation pour la piste
5. Travail technique sur la mise en scène (danse de scène)
6. Où se termine le travail technique ? Différence entre bouger et “danser”.
7. Laboratoire de recherche de figures
« Tous ces thèmes seront présents dans le séminaire, sans ordre ni durée spécifiques. Chacun des thèmes est choisi comme sujet de proposition et de « provocation » de la recherche personnelle de chaque participant, afin qu’il puisse acquérir de nouvelles idées et concepts l’aidant à développer SA PROPRE DANSE. Loin de moi la prétention d’enseigner à danser à ma façon. Car aucun de mes élèves ne danse comme moi. Et je fais moi-même en sorte de ne pas être défini par un style ou une technique.

Intensive Seminar for professional dancers (or professional level)
For a 1st edition in Paris : we are honored to welcome Sebastian Arce coming back to France with Maria Cecilia Vicencio for a unique professionnal meeting :
A master class in which both of them will provide their dance and art expertise, their years of experience, research and creativity about tango argentinean essence.
Through their vision of the body consciensness, and studies on body mecanics, the dancer will be taught how to better honor his dance.
The purpose is to embody the dance and to experiment the seminar as a real transformation through technical, artistic and musical angles.
Case study : Complex technique, multi styles, interpretation, musicality
Dancing is all about telling a story. It’s also an opportunity as an artist, to experiment the art of changing our way of learning, and thinking different. As if we sometimes need to lose ourselves to better find us. This process while authentic and not duplicated, answers the question every dancer may ask himself : why do I dance ?

1. Increase the fondamental tango argentinean elements (in a technical and educational way)
- The embrace
- The walk
- The pivot
- The turn
2. Understand the critical differences between the 4 levels of dissociation and how they influence what the audience calls the « style »
3. Crucial differences (technical and educational) between train to social dance and train to competition or dance performance on stage.
4. Technical work on improvisation while dancing in milonga
5. Technical work on improvisation while dancing on stage
6. Where does the tehcnical work end ? Main differences between “move“ and “dance”.
7. Figures research laboratory
“All these topics will be taught during the seminar without any specific order nor duration. Each of ones is choosen as a proposition and as a subject of « provocation » of the personal research of each attendee, so that he can integrate new ideas and concepts helping him to improve HIS OWN DANCE. I don’t have any ambition to teach dancing the way I dance. As none of my students dance like me. And I, myself, try not to be defined by a style or a technique.
